The Goal…

“To let others go off and have some fun with loved ones”

Oliver’s Travels is simply ‘Olly and a goal’ I established to raise funds and awareness for charities that supported me throughout my illness.

Since 2011, I have been organising projects and attending events with the aim of inspiring others to achieve their own goals and dreams, as I truly believe that having a focus is tremendously important to survival.

‘Olly’s Challenges’ are unique adventures designed to generate public interest, increase awareness of the bone marrow transplant register and the late effects of cancer.

This platform enables me to tell my story as I go through the after effects of a bone marrow transplant and more importantly try and help others along the way.

Over the years…

From a young age I have always been fond of restoring old vehicles and have been fortunate enough to still have some of them!

Although I still work towards my challenges to help raise awareness I love to see others go off and use some of the old vehicles to go off and have fun in. Sometimes simple things like going off for a day out to get fish & chips in an old Land Rover with family or friends can be hugely beneficial to help take your mind off things and create new memories. Or setting your own goal and going off to do your own fund raiser for charity on the Nuffield tractor… I really enjoy seeing these vehicles being used and seeing others getting enjoyment from them.

I am lucky enough to have started a small business ROFIX Restoration that currently helps keep and maintain the vehicles and keeps Olivers Travels alive. When time allows we try and keep everything going and have days out. If you want to find out more then please do get in touch.
